Sheila Rennick

'It is a novel idea executed brilliantly as the men turn into grotesque figures, staring out at us as much as we look at them' Hamza Moshin, Tinder Paintings, Candid Magazine 2015.

'She takes oil paint close to chaos and finishes at a point somewhere between gorgeous and ugly. Why, because modern life can be like that'. Cristin Leach, The Sunday Times 2016

In vivid, often hallucinogenic images, she lays on swirling concentrations of sickly sweet pastel colours, intermittently built into succulently creamy impasto heaps, to the extent that the results should be cloying and unpleasant but actually inspire admiration for her sure judgment'. Aidan Dunne, Irish Times 2016
